This is the blog of one of those whacky creative types, you know, those artsy-fartsy ones who wear odd black outfits and don't bathe quite often enough... I teach graphic design, web design, video production and journalism at a public high school in a hoity-toity tourist town in coastal california. I spoil my three dogs, mrs. beasley, bunny shmenkleman and bosco shamefully.

I've crammed several lifetimes into the present one. I've been fat, thin, pretty, ugly, arty, jocky, intellectual, I've lived in cities, fancy suburbs, ghettos and on a farm. I've delivered newspapers, attended Swiss boarding school, been a baker, cook, teacher, nanny, designer and so much more.
